"A request for any Buell Blast owners. Warm the bike up, check for proper oil level and take a 100 mile tour down the freeway. On returning check your oil and report how much you need to come back up to the same level. I'm hearing reports of Blast owners running out of oil on longer trips.In town and lower speeds the bike uses no oil. On the freeway at 75mph the oil mist in the head passes through the pcv valve and back into the carb. Mine uses around an ounce per 25 miles. That ties in with the other reports of oil related engine failure."
